Surface preparation for application of epoxy injection adhesive


The crack surface must be free of any grease, dust, oil and loose particles. Prepare the desired surface with a sandblasting machine or special tools and remove loose and unstable parts of concrete. Place the appropriate packers at regular intervals along the crack slit and cover with a suitable tool.

If the crack surface is not accessible, wash and prepare the crack with ETCHING SOLUTION. To do this, pass the washing solution through the crack for 15 minutes and then rinse with water. To complete the rinsing process, run the solution through the crack again for 15 minutes and then rinse as the water passes through the crack.


Procedure

Epoxy injection adhesive is available in two separate packages. Always mix the two packages thoroughly. The mixture should be applied at the mentioned time of use (Pot Life). Mix components A and B separately under the mixer. Add component B to component A and mix well under the mixer at 200-300 rpm. Mix for minutes.

Continue mixing the ingredients for three minutes to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Make sure the ingredients are not mixed on the sides of the container. Do not increase the temperature of the mixer as it will cause excess air to enter the mixture. Pour the mixture into the injection pump with high pressure and inject it into the crack through the installed packers.
