Multi-purpose epoxy mortar is a type of repair and reinforcing mortar that is the basis of solvent-free epoxy resin and can be supplied as a two-component thixotropic. The special chemical components used in the formulation of multi-purpose epoxy mortar provide the ability to work in all horizontal and vertical sections inside and outside the structures. How to use Abadur-P1 Multifunctional epoxy mortar
The amount of consumption can be calculated by calculating the cross-sectional volume and considering the specific weight of the material. Surface preparation for all surfaces should be cleaned and removed from any contaminants including bitumen, paint, oil, dust, cement syrup and the like that have a negative effect on the amount of adhesion. The following sections may be wet but there is no static water on the surface. Damaged concrete must be demolished until it reaches a strong layer. The minimum bond strength of the reinforced concrete should be 1.5 N / mm2. Metal surfaces must also be prepared to a degree of SA 2.5 by mechanical methods such as sandblast and then vacuum.
Surface preparation should not be done under the following conditions
When the temperature reaches less than 10 ° C.
When the surface temperature is less than 3 ° C above the dew point.
Multi-purpose epoxy mortar is produced and supplied separately in two components. Mix the two components in the specified proportions and mix them thoroughly. The mixture must be applied at the stated time of use. First mix the two components A and B using a low speed mixer (maximum 300 rpm). Continue mixing to ensure complete mixing of the components (about 2 to 3 minutes). Be sure to mix the remaining components in the corners and sides of the mixing bowl.
Once the color and consistency are uniform, the mixture is ready to run. Execution can take place immediately after mixing and does not require time to mix. The hardening reaction of the components starts from the moment of mixing and will increase the temperature of the mixture. Excessive temperature increase will cause the multifunctional mortar to lose its efficiency. To prevent this, mix the mixture in shallow containers or start the operation in the very first minutes.
To achieve the desired properties of this versatile mortar, observe the following conditions.
In hot climates, the temperature of the components before mixing should be between 20 and 25 ° C. Otherwise the user life (Pot Life) will be greatly shortened.
In cold weather, if the components harden, heat them indirectly (leave them at room temperature for a while).
Never dilute the mixture.
Avoid applying mortar when the wind speed is high.
Do not apply mortar when the temperature of the sections under the work is less than 12 degrees Celsius. Use a flat or comb trowel or hand to apply thin layers on the prepared surface. At large thicknesses, try to format the sections to be executed.

Protection and safety of multi-purpose epoxy mortar
This material is flammable and should be kept away from high heat and direct flame. Avoid direct and permanent contact of this substance with the skin.
